[Did he expect a message from Rumi? Not exactly, but it's not unwelcome. Jinu has been... very much in his thoughts for a while.]

In any, or at least most, other situation(s) Rumi would tease or say something about the cute network username. Now's not the time for that either.
Rumi's both surprised and so, so relieved, that he answers without her trying to contact him even more than that. And she takes the fact, that he shares his location to her like that as a sign, that he doesn't mind if she joins his company there. And also he's all alone there considering how they have their private meetings back home too. So instead of asking "Alone?" she leaves Jinu on read.
But she arrives there as fast as she can which is very soon considering how fast she is -- maybe a bit slower than one might expect from her if they knew her location considering -- everything else. Someone, anyone might see them here but she doesn't even care about unimportant things like that. At least the door closes itself once Rumi's on the roof too.
Rumi looks pale as a ghost, and so emotional and heartbroken like someone or something broke her into million pieces and she'll never be able to go back... He'll-- No. No, no, no, no, no, no. She wants him to be free and she has her plan, where he's supposed to be safe from anything too bad happening to him while they take down Gwi-ma.
No words which is extremely rare for her compared to how much she usually talks almost all the time.
Rumi walks to him with pretty fast steps. Maybe she'll punch. Maybe she'll kick his ass. Maybe she'll yell and do any of those things too!
Something that Jinu might not be expecting this time either despite how there was all of their cuddling and hugging because they had to do that to help each other with their freezing hearts? Throwback to their first private meeting back home with how he said he wasn't expecting a hug...
Well, this time he's getting an extremely tight and emotional hug. Mm, no, not a hug. More like an embrace where she buries her face into his clothes too and holds him tightly like she'll never ever let him leave from this world.

Jinu isn't exactly alone on the roof, since Derpy and Sussie were close by. The tiger looks up, watching Rumi when she arrives. He can sense the atmosphere is sad, but he gives them both space for now, content to just observe and keep watch for anyone.
It's easy to guess why Rumi was the way she was right now. Jinu does expect a punch, even a kick. Maybe Rumi would throw him off the roof for being stupid enough to die.
Instead she wraps her arms around him and buries her face into his clothes. Touch energy once again flows, making him feel warm. Slowly he wraps his own arms around her, at first just gently keeping them there, but emotions make him hold onto her tighter.
It's not like he ever expected a future. It's not like he expected a future with Rumi in particular.
But he has yearned for both, even if he shouldn't have. That he can't deny. So hearing he doesn't have either makes him lose the hope he had started to slightly reach out for.

Jinu is well aware that Rumi is a lot more sensitive than she lets on. The crying isn't something he is surprised about and even he tears up. It's only a few tears as he hasn't actually properly cried in hundreds of years. His patterns are showing, but his eyes remain human like they always do with Rumi. If there's one thing that he hangs onto, it's that. He never wants to look at her with demonic eyes.

Yep, if he was in fact an evil demon, she'd be a perfect vulnerable target for him. Luckily he's not. But when he tears up too, surprises her because she's not really expecting that but all things considered not as surprised by it as she could be. But she also realizes, that Jinu hasn't cried in all of those centuries. If she thought this wouldn't get any more emotional, she was wrong, but no, she didn't dare to jinx that earlier.

Silently, Jinu raises one of his hands to pet Rumi's braid. He's wondered, for a while, just how long he hair would look without the braid. It's a nice thought to cling to when you want to try and stop thinking about disappearing.

His affection to her braid feels so nice and comforting. Maybe he'll find out just how long her hair is sooner than he thinks. She cuddles closer and pets his back in some attempts of even more comfort for him too.

Who knows, maybe he'd rather stay with his family (he has deserved it, none of them ever deserved to be separated from each other) but she'll check to make sure. She will go there with the girls and even with Derpy and Sussie if they're still around too because all of them could help too. Everyone always comes back to life inSailor Moon all sorts of manhwa, manga, anime, drama series and whatever else -- and sure, that may be a different thing because they're not her real life but their home world isn't exactly just a normal world either, maybe it could happen there too. It will happen, it has to, that can't the end for them. Oh yeah and she'll totally tell him about Mira and Zoey knowing about her sooner or later.

At least they both hopefully know, that she doesn't mean any those mean things, that she says to him sometimes. She absolutely hates how hearing about him dying really makes her realize and admit so many of her feelings for him. How much Jinu means to her among everything else. It makes her instantly blush a lot but that's fine too, better than talking without seeing his face when she's about to say important things to him. Or if he wants to lean on her shoulder or whatever to hide his face from her, he can always do that too. But she's looking at him with one of the softest, saddest and gentlest looks ever on her face.
"I'm... So, so happy, that we arrived here at the same time and that you're still here with me, Jinu, so that we could make all the memories here all the way from the beginning of our time together here and that we can still continue making all the memories here together. I never ever want to let go of you."
She's so tempted to kiss him. Wouldn't be their first kiss either. No. No, but she has more things to say, she just decides to start with that. Jinu can't help but stare at her for a long time, silent. There are a lot of emotions inside him. It was hard to accept his own death, somehow. Even after living for 400 years, he still wanted more. He wanted to live with Rumi. Free from his past, the voices.
So hearing Rumi say what she does makes his feelings stir even more. That's right. They still had this world. He wasn't dead here and they were together. There was no Gwi-ma either to control what he did. He could do what he wanted.
What did he want to do? Well, the first thing he does is lean closer and put his forehead on Rumi's gently.
"I'm also happy. I would definitely be lost without you here. You make me... feel."
Was it alright now to take the leap of faith? To actually hope and trust his feelings? Their feelings?
So hearing Rumi say what she does makes his feelings stir even more. That's right. They still had this world. He wasn't dead here and they were together. There was no Gwi-ma either to control what he did. He could do what he wanted.

That last one about not going anywhere sure is one more line that really makes Rumi blush a lot, it's just way too easy to admit things like that to Jinu. They sure haven't sung their song yet but she'd know the lyrics too after all of their time together here.
Rumi continuing to look at him so gently even while his patterns glow is making Jinu feel a lot of different feelings. Warmth. Relief. Happiness. Feelings he hasn't felt for so, so long before meeting Rumi. It's almost like he has a soul again.

Like sure, she has listened to all of Celine's bullshit about how Mira and Zoey would never understand and how she must conceal and so on, but that's -- that's also really bad considering what it has done to her, she can relate and imagine even a little of what it's like to listen to all the lies and bullshit from others, but over 400 years of that is So. The song lyrics make Jinu's eyes widen. It definitely hits him the right way. A sad, but right way. He knows Rumi cares about him. That is just a part of the confirmation.
The immediate denial makes his heart drop. This is what he was afraid of. Rumi possibly could't accept him now. He contemplates on backing off from her, but then she asks the question.

Jinu doesn't actually have an answer to that. It's what he's believed for so long. It's the voices repeating in his head. Telling him over and over again how he left them to starve, showing their sad faces as the gates closed. It's like a constant nightmare you can't wake up from.
Rumi's touch and gentle kisses feels nice and Jinu softly nods when she asks him to listen.
As she speaks he can feel emotions stirring inside him. The logic behind the words she says breaking slowly breaking through the torment. The voices only blamed him for abandoning them. They never let any logic in. No words of salvation. Nothing. It was always just the shame and guilt. Never anything that might resemble the feelings he had when he took the deal.
It was a barrier around his heart, formed for over 400 years. It wouldn't be breaking completely in one conversation. But it's already started the change. Already started to crack a little, thanks to Rumi.

Yup. It's heavy hitter like that. Even if Huntrix won't be changing the lyrics or even performing that song back home. Or who knows, maybe the original lyrics could be used to fight against monsters here with or without some more or less little changes into them.

And at the same time she's so happy to see, that she manages to make him laugh with thatstupid cute way of telling Jinu, that he is amazing. After all the hiding of who and what she really is, no one's said that to her. No one that she'd believe anyway because they never know the whole truth about her.

But Jinu knows her secrets too, so---- it's so, so different to hear that from him and believe, that he genuinely means it about all of her. But if they weren't, then no one else would see her the way Jinu does, and even then, those are different kind of ways to love her between him and them.
